GROUP RIDING COURSE
WHERE: Palm Beach Harley Davidson Dealership
WHEN: The Second Saturday of the Month at
12:00pm
The Group Riding Class
will be
held on the second Saturday at
12:00pm
in the
conference room at the Palm Beach dealership. Our Group Riding Course is open to
all Palm Beach Hog members at no charge. This service is provided by Palm Beach
Harley Owners Group and Palm Beach Harley-Davidson.
The aim of the
Riders Edge/Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF) Group Riding course is to assist
motorcyclists in obtaining the necessary skills and knowledge so the Joy of
Motorcycling can best be achieved for the good of all riders.
In the
classroom you will meet new friends and learn to put safety first whenever participating in a group ride, This information in this course
is important whether you are riding with just a few friends or participating in
an organized event.
You will learn the proper procedures about such
things as riding in formation, the proper hand signals to use during a group
ride, entering intestates and freeways, passing as a group, leaving the group,
what to do if you become separated, what to do in the event of a breakdown and
much more.
There is a lot to know when it comes to riding in a group.
This is because you are not just responsible for your own safety and enjoyment
but you also share the responsibility for ensuring that the ride is safe and fun
for everyone involved.
